Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a Program Therapist to deliver social services and guide patients toward treatment skills. You will conduct individual, couples, and family counseling and work within an interdisciplinary team in Monroe, GA.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work and Georgia licensure, with 2+ years in psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and assessment skills. CPR and crisis training are required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field.
• Valid Georgia state license in Social Work or clinical-related field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with family and group therapies, crisis intervention.
• Must acquire CPR certification and crisis intervention/management training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual/couples/family counseling with engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment and services.
• Evaluate and document effectiveness of interventions and patient responses.
• Assess psychosocial, educational, and behavioral functioning of patients and document updates.
• Utilize age-specific considerations in treatment planning.
• Respond promptly to social work service requests.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings.
• Ensure specific, measurable goals and interventions are defined.
• Adhere to standards for care of diverse patient populations.
• Utilize interventions in psychiatric emergencies.
