Job summary

Butler Hospital, part of Care New England, is seeking a licensed mental health professional to evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of psychological symptoms under supervision. You will apply individual and group evidence-based interventions to help patients and families improve functioning.

Responsibilities include performing initial psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, delivering CBT/DBT/ACT therapy, leading group sessions, coordinating with families and outpatient

Qualifications

• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and evidence-based therapies (CBT/DBT/ACT).
• Experience in psychiatric settings with individual and group therapy.
• Ability to assess risk and manage patient acuity.

Responsibilities

• Completes Initial Psychiatric evaluations, including symptoms and history.
• Develops individualized treatment plans specific to each patient.
• Provides individual and group therapy with evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitates psychotherapy and psychoeducation/skill groups.
• Collaborates with family and conducts family meetings as needed.
• Monitors course of treatment and clinical progress.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to hospital standards.
• Supervises students and participates in training.
