Job summary

Compass Health Center, Llc seeks an experienced Program Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adolescents and adults in a PHP/IOP setting. You will conduct individual therapy, lead groups, and coordinate care with a full treatment team to ensure comprehensive, compassionate care.

Applicants should have a Master’s level license and relevant crisis experience, with proficiency in CBT, DBT, and ACT.

Qualifications

• Psychologist or Master’s level therapist (required).
• Master’s level clinical license (required).
• 1+ year clinical work experience post-Master’s preferred.
• Experience with CBT/DBT and other evidenced-based therapies.
• Crisis experience in partial hospitalization, IOP, or inpatient settings.

Patients and their families rely on CompassHealth Center whenincrisis – every day, wehelp people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

Launched in September 2025, our location inBrookfield,WI, is already home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazersarebuildingour adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and nurses working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade. __

We are seeking an experienced clinician with a passion for delivering evidence-based therapy to patients. If you are passionate about working with patients to communicate, develop and carry out appropriate treatment plans and compassionate care, you would be an ideal addition to our team.

As a Program Therapist, you’ll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of conducting individual therapy meetings, collaborating with patients’ outpatient teams, leading groups and guiding patients through their overall treatment program. You’ll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do

• Role function will be split across Primary Therapy, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as well as other evidence-based therapies
• Meet with patients individually to assess progress and guide treatment planning
• Coordinate care with patients’ individual providers to ensure continuity of care
• Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care or discharge
• Conducts assessments and consults with intake clinicians to aid in determining appropriateness of fit for patients
• Communicate with patients’ family members or support system when indicated
• Complete initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and appropriateness for program as needed
• Chart in our electronic medical records system
• Engage in crisis management as part of a treatment team
• Create and update treatment plansParticipate in professional development activities
• Lead group therapy sessions teaching DBT, CBT, and ACT skills
• Provide individual and milieu-based exposure therapy

Who You Are

• Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist (required)
• Hold a master’s level clinical license (required)
• 1+ years clinical work experience post-Master’s (strongly preferred)
• Have knowledge and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Have experience with patients in crisis, ideally prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting
