Job summary

Inner Haven Wellness in Neenah, WI, is hiring a Primary Therapist to oversee treatment, counseling, and case management for a caseload of clients in OP/IOP/PHP settings. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions in alignment with state regulations.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work and WI licensure (or in-training).

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
• Licensed or in-training licensure in Wisconsin.
• 1+ year experience in outpatient or related mental health programs.
• Knowledge of behavioral health treatment for mood, anxiety, and eating disorders.
• Experience with electronic health records (EMR).
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy as directed by leadership.
• Perform case management and aftercare planning, update care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the EMR for each client.
• Attend clinical meetings and supervision; participate in teams as required.
• Fulfill other duties within the program's scope.

Inner Haven Wellness is an eating disorder treatment provider serving adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults with locations in Neenah and Madison, Wisconsin. Inner Haven Wellness delivers both Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programming. Position Description:

The primary therapist will be responsible for the treatment, counseling, group therapy, and case management for a caseload of program clients. The primary therapist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver counseling services in the way of individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The primary therapist will be responsible for keeping timely and thorough documentation for client records in accordance with state regulations.

Duties:

• Conducting biopsychosocial assessments and developing individualized care plans based on collected data
• Conducting individual, family, and group treatment at the direction of the Executive Clinical Director
• Performs case management tasks including but not limited to aftercare planning, updating referral sources, reporting on client progress to the care team, and update care plans as necessary.
• Maintains clinically accurate, timely, and complete charting in electronic medical record for each assigned client
• Attends scheduled clinical staff meeting, clinical supervision, and other meetings for information exchange, case reviews, and client treatment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or Executive Clinical Director within the general scope of this position.

Qualifications and Experience:

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work
• Independently Licensed/In-Training Licensed as a clinical provider in the State of Wisconsin
• 1 or more years industry specific experience in Outpatient (OP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Treatment (PHP), or Residential (RTC) programs for mental health treatment.
• Knowledge of behavioral health treatment for mood, anxiety, and eating disorders
• Demonstrate ability to clinical conceptualize a client’s needs as it pertains to behavioral care
• Experience in the use of electronic health records
• Highly skilled in communicating ideas and instructions, verbally and in writing, clearly and concisely
