Job summary

Oklahoma State University seeks a Program Support Strategist in the School of Engineering & Construction Technologies to strengthen recruitment, retention and promotional initiatives. You will develop promotional content and presentations, collaborate with diverse audiences, and coordinate outreach across internal and external partners.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Ethical and professional behavior demonstrated.
  • Experience in public relations, sales, marketing and/or promotions.
  • Higher education experience preferred.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Class A CDL driver’s license required.

  • Support strategic engagement in recruitment, retention, and promotions.
  • Develop and deliver promotional content, presentations and other materials for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external constituents to ensure deliverables.
  • Manage data from information systems and support data-driven decisions.

About this Position

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The School of Engineering & Construction Technologies Program Support Strategist strengthens and enhances the School, the success of its students, offerings and extramural linkages through strategic engagement in recruitment, retention, promotional, extramural and support-focused activities.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university. Candidates with alternate combinations of credentials and/or experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with and serving diverse constituencies.
  • Formal experience in public relations, sales, marketing and/or promotions.
  • Work experience in higher education or similar environment highly preferred.
  • Experience working with a range of audiences.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Class A CDL driver’s license required.

  • Understanding of current student recruitment and retention best practices.

  • Ability to develop and deliver promotional content, presentations and other materials for a variety of audiences and multiple venues using both electronic and print means.
