The role supports youth with coordinated services, monitors attendance, and helps implement group activities within a Positive Youth Development framework. The position runs 10am-6pm, Monday–Friday, with an annual salary of $55,000–$60,000, plus generous benefits and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution, implementation and coordination of services and activities related to the needs and strengths of each youth.
• Establish relationships with community-based organizations to broaden and sustain an in-depth network of resources.
• Solicit input from youth about community-based services reflecting their interests and needs.
• Monitor school and clinical appointment attendance.
• Participate in developing and facilitating the therapeutic psycho-educational and recreational program schedule, including groups.
• Respect cultural diversity and demonstrate cultural awareness at all times.

Education

Eliot is seeking a compassionate and responsible Support Specialist for our Juvenile Justice residential program. Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides court‑involved youth, ages 13 to 21, placement while awaiting court proceedings, assessment, or treatment. This highly structured, self‑contained program provides comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group therapy, staffed by trained professionals. All components are integrated through a Positive Youth Development framework.

• Solicit input from youth about the types of community‑based services, resources, and activities that reflect their specific interests and needs

• Respect the diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work or related field

Schedule

10am-6pm, Monday-Friday

Annual Salary: $55,000 USD - $60,000 USD
