Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Youth Advocate Coordinator for its Juvenile Justice residential program serving court-involved youth aged 13 to 21.

You will oversee staff and youth, executing the daily program plan with targeted interventions in a structured setting. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, supervising staff, ensuring safety, developing ISPs, and promoting teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• At least two years experience with the population.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth.
• Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met.
• Ensure safety and security, including security checks.
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
• Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment.
• Help youth identify goals and interests.
• Cultivate a positive program environment.
• Assign and lead daily group activities.
• Serve as an advocate and role model for youth.

Overview:

• 3pm- 11pm, Sunday - Thursday (Friday/Saturday off)
• 11pm-7am, Sunday - Thursday (Friday/Saturday off)

Hourly Rate: $21.83 USD - $21.83 USD
