Job summary

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) seeks a part-time Program Support Aide to work at the Center for Industrial Training facility in Mechanicsburg. The role covers phones, filing, greeting visitors, trainees and staff, and provides vocational supports to participants.

Hours are 8:00am to 1:00pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for extra hours. Starting pay is $13.54 per hour with dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, long-term disability, and 60 hours of paid time

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with adults with disabilities is helpful.
• Ability to cover phones, greet visitors and assist with filing.

Job description

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is seeking a part time Program Support Aide to work out of the Center for Industrial Training facility in Mechanicsburg.

This staff member will perform office related duties for the program; covering phones, assist with filing and greeting visitors, trainees and staff.

This staff member also provides vocational supports to an assigned participant or group of participants. This will include providing lunch coverage during trainee lunches and assisting trainees in collecting their belongings and finding their transportation. The staff member may also provide coverage for other staff as needed.

Pay/Benefits:

This part-time, Monday-Friday (8:00am to 1:00pm) with additional opportunities to work extra hours when available. Position starts at $13.54 per hour. Dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and 60 hours of paid time off during the first year.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Demonstrated interest and experience in working with adults with disabilities is helpful.
