Job summary

The Arc Of The Ozarks is seeking a Program Supervisor in Springfield, MO. This full-time role oversees client progress, supervises Direct Support Staff in residential sites, and drives implementation and evaluation of treatment and support programs.

Program Supervisor – Springfield, MO

Full‑time position with a salary starting at $62,000 annually.

Job Overview

As a Program Supervisor, you will manage client progress, supervise direct support staff in residential facilities, and lead the implementation and evaluation of treatment and support programs. You will mentor staff, maintain program quality, and ensure compliance with state and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track client progress and develop individualized support plans.
  • Supervise and coach Direct Support Staff in residential sites, ensuring accountability and providing progressive discipline when needed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining accurate records, reports, and billing for services rendered.
  • Develop and implement training, performance reviews, and in‑service instruction for staff.
  • Conduct investigative reviews of complaints, infractions, and incidents, and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Ensure proper staffing schedules, timekeeping, overtime, and policy adherence.
  • Qualify and maintain a clean, person‑centered environment that meets Arc and DMH standards.
  • Oversee medication administration per Agency and State training requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required quality assurance reports and variance reports.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams for the development and evaluation of Individualized Support Plans.
  • Communicate with family, guardians, staff, and external agencies to uphold service quality and program objectives.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and professional development of staff.
  • Participate in the on‑call rotation as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, psychology, social work, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, psychiatric disorders, and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with Individualized Supported Living (ISL) homes is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance; ability to obtain a Missouri Class E license.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis, autism, developmental disabilities, and related disciplines.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and training skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and adapt habilitation program activities and budgets.
  • Capable of working varied and flexible hours, including on‑call responsibilities.
