About the Role
Impact Support Services is seeking a proactive, organized, and compassionate Program Manager to lead our Community Living homes. The Program Manager is the primary advocate for residents, ensuring they live integrated lives while overseeing a dedicated team of direct care professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Individual Advocacy & Care: Oversee all aspects of assigned homes; coordinate healthcare appointments, lead the Person-Centered Support Planning (PCSP) process, and ensure medical and community integration goals are met.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise direct care staff; coach performance, evaluate staff, and manage schedules and payroll within budget.
- Home Operations: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for residents, coordinate maintenance with landlords, and manage financial stability in partnership with finance.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely shift documentation, event reports, and Medicaid-compliant progress reports; maintain standards for DMH and CARF accreditation.
- Agency Coordination: Collaborate with DFS, SSA, and internal teams to guarantee zero service interruptions.
Qualifications – Required Skills
- Clinical Assessment: Accurately assess complex medical needs and proactively solve problems.
- Communication: Excellent writing and organizational skills; maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook) and capable of learning industry-specific software such as Therap, Paycom, and StationMD.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must be eligible to qualify as a Department of Mental Health (DMH) Degreed Professional Manager (DPM) or possess a bachelor’s degree. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Compliance: Class E Missouri Driver’s License (or willingness to obtain one), proof of vehicle insurance, and a background check.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: On‑call coverage during the week and rotating weekend schedule; direct care coverage may be required in emergency staffing situations.
