Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead direct support professionals and oversee daily operations of residential facilities in PA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality services aligned with our care philosophy and center procedures, while guiding staff in best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in human services, 3+ years in human services, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to the well-being and growth of adults with

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services
• Three (3) years of human service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct support professionals and direct the daily operation of assigned residential facility(s) to assure quality services.
• Ensure quality services that meet therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs of individuals in accordance with Devereux philosophy and procedures.
• Provide training and mentoring to staff and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Adult Services is looking for a program supervisor for a home located in Eagleville and Collegeville PA. that provides housing and care for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a Program Supervisor you will supervise direct support professionals and direct the daily operation of assigned residential facility(s) to assure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs of the Individuals, in accordance with Devereux Philosophy of Care, established Center Procedures, Standards of Conduct, Best Practices, and regulatory requirements.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

Qualifications

Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model. Additionally, you must be able to complete eight days of new hire orientation class, have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs and possess a valid license.Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.
