Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Program Supervisor in Sioux City, IA. You will supervise caregivers, support individuals in ISP implementation, and assist with scheduling and training to ensure high-quality care.

Open interviews are scheduled for 08/31 and 09/09 from 10:00am–6:00pm at 5410 Sergeant Rd. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with team members and those we serve.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of ISP and participate in staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Duties are split between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities.
