Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee ISP implementation, supervise caregivers, and support individuals in daily activities, including transportation and community outings. This role emphasizes supervisory development and hands-on service delivery within Cedar Falls/Waterloo area.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year related work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage staffing and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ISP implementation and participate in administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.
• Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program.
• Provide support to individuals including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
• Duties split between direct support, professional activities, and supervision.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
