Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) is seeking a dedicated full-time Program Supervisor for Harmony House in Muscatine. You will oversee a 24-hour site, supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure high-quality person-centered supports for individuals served.

You'll develop staff schedules, monitor overtime to stay within budget, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to promote growth and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years in human services, including 2 years in leadership.
• Associates Degree with 3 years related experience, 1 year in leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree in human services with 1 year related experience.
• CMA, CAN, LPN or RN credentials preferred; CMA certification within 6 months of hire.
• Willingness to work long hours including some evenings and weekends; on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our hourly supported community living (SCL) program. What You'll Do

The Program Supervisor will oversee Harmony House, a 24-hour site, be responsible for the oversight of services and supervision of Direct Support Professionals. Supervisor will develop and maintain staff schedules and monitor overtime to ensure budget compliance. Supervisor will acts as the main contact for interdisciplinary team members for individuals served in the site. Supervisor will work directly with individuals served to provide support, assistance, and instruction in areas which facilitate personal growth and independence.

Position may require long hours including some evenings and weekends to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the individuals served. On-call rotation; will be asked to participate in an on-call rotation which may limit ability to travel outside a geographic area during those times.

What You'll Need

Required: High School Diploma or GED and five years of experience in human services, education or human services related field with 2 years being in a leadership position

OR Associates Degree and three years of related experience; with at least one year in a leadership role

OR Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field and one year of related experience

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field and one year of related experience. Additionally, years of related experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.

CMA, CAN, LPN or RN credentials and/or experience preferred. Candidates must obtain CMA certification within six months of hire.
