Merakey is seeking a Program Manager to join our Foster Care team in the Harrisburg, PA area. The position is the operational leader of the assigned program(s) and ensures program regulations and best practices are implemented, managed and maintained.

The role provides ongoing administrative, program evaluation, and planning, with staff supervision of SWAN units of service. It also involves training staff, scheduling, and coordinating with county and state offices to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited organization with 3–5 years of child welfare programming experience.
• Experience leading program operations and staff supervision.
• Ability to work with county and state offices and manage program metrics.

This position is the operational leader of the assigned program(s).

The position will ensure program regulations and best practices are implemented, managed and maintained.

This role will beresponsible for providing ongoing administrative, program evaluation, and planning.

Staff Supervision of SWAN units of service

Complete SWAN units of service
Disseminates clear expectations to staff, ensuring they have the tools they need, monitorsperformance.
Trains and supports staff.
Documents attendance, verifies weekly timesheets, monitors available leave and schedule adherence, approves, and denies leave requests, and tracks FMLA usage.
Manages daily operation of program(s)
Assists in monitoring authorizations when applicable.
Implements policies/procedures as directed.
May participate in the marketing, development, and expansion of programs (e.g. developingprograms and proposals to expand services).
Reviews care and treatment of individuals and reviews program processes to ensure individuals aresupported.
Monitors program performance considering key indicators and compiles data as requested.
Represents program(s) in ongoing status meetings with County and State offices.
Assists with the development of quality improvement efforts, and reviews and evaluates programgoals, activities, policies, and procedures.
All other duties as assigned as it relates to the position.
