Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Skills Development Supervisor to lead the Skills/Rec therapy department. The role focuses on training the team to deliver services to acute and residential patients and coordinating unit schedules.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a social service or therapeutic discipline, and must be a certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), with 3–5 years of related experience and proficiency in office software.

The Skills Development Supervisor oversees the Skills/Rec therapy department and ensures that the team is trained and empowered to deliver services to the acute and residential patients, while also serving as a part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The Supervisor is responsible for developing and coordinating the unit schedules. The supervisor monitors that all groups are occurring as required by regulatory requirements through supervision, training, and data collection/assessment.

Education/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, education, criminal justice or other social service or therapeutic discipline. Must be a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist.
Experience: Three to five years related work experience, with knowledge of psychiatric and/or substance use disorder patient care techniques. Proficiency utilizing office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Requirements: Experience with group facilitation or education.
