The Inpatient Therapist provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients. Therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and treatment team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient. Therapists will complete assessments, facilitate treatment planning, provide group therapists, and meet with patients individually.
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
License: State licensed in social work or clinical related mental health field; LCSW, preferred
Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family, individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention, preferred. Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT experience, preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.
