Job summary

Sevita's Mentor Community Services in Missouri is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead a team that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independent and fulfilling lives.

You’ll supervise DSPs, assist with hiring, training, and scheduling, ensure high-quality care and program operations, and provide hands-on support when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate heart and natural drive to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling team members.
• Ensure high-quality care and program operations.
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including meal prep, medication administration, and personal care when needed.
• Encourage independence and help individuals participate in community activities.
• Model leadership, compassion, and teamwork for your staff.
