Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Program Supervisor BHT to oversee day-to-day operations of the program, provide guidance to staff, train, schedule, and ensure policy adherence.

The role includes direct service to members as needed and collaboration with community partners, and to maintain HMIS data quality. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), plus at least one year in behavioral health direct service, with recovery experience, valid NM

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of behavioral health direct service experience in a shelter, transitional or PSH setting.
  • Minimum six months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred; certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Current NM Driver’s License in good standing; clean MVR.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff guidance.
  • Provide training, scheduling, and skills verification; ensure policy adherence.
  • Provide direct service to members as needed and perform staff shadowing for QA.
  • Coordinate with community partners and participate in funder meetings as required.
  • Ensure HMIS data quality and timely completion of staffing emails, transactions, and notes.

Program Supervisor BHT

Job Summary

The Program Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, providing guidance and directions to assigned staff including but not limited to training, scheduling, skills and knowledge verification, and ensuring staff adhere to agency policy and procedure. In addition, the Program Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct service to members as needed, participating in staffing and shadowing staff for quality assurance purposes. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for positively representing the program and agency, providing coordination between various community partners, assisting with program presentations, and participating in meetings with the funder when determined necessary. The Program Supervisor will be responsible for the data quality of the HMIS entries, ensuring staff complete daily staffing emails, services transactions, and case notes as indicated in the program specific desktop procedures. The Program Supervisor is responsible for ensuring staff thoroughly document their efforts according to CBI Policy and Procedure and is responsible for continuously reviewing HMIS reports.

Skills/Requirements
  • Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health related work experience providing direct service in a shelter, transitional or permanent supportive housing setting.
  • Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.Certified Peer Support Worker or Recovery Coach certification required to be obtained within 90-days of hire.
  • Current NM Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check required.
