Job summary

OCHIN is hiring a Program Specialist to coordinate cross-functional program activities, align with strategic goals, and ensure regulatory compliance.   • Program Coordination & Execution: Manage and support program activities aligned with strategic goals, including day-to-day operations, project planning, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Engagement: Serve as a key liaison to OCHIN members, customers, and partners by providing clear, timely, and customer-centric communication about program initiatives, updates, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Research, recommend, and implement improvements based on best practices and performance data; contribute critical thinking and insights to enhance program effectiveness and member value.
  • Data & Content Development: Create and maintain program documentation, reports, and visual content (e.g., dashboards, presentations) to support internal and external communication, learning, and decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Program Specialist serves as a strategic partner in advancing OCHIN's mission by supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive clinical, operational, and organizational excellence. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing program activities that align with OCHIN's strategic goals, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Program Specialist collaborates closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational performance. Through data-driven insights, best practice sharing, and continuous improvement efforts, the Program Specialist plays a key role in enhancing program effectiveness and member engagement across the network.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and guide cross- functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management to ensure program sustainability and resource alignment.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across internal and external partners.
  • Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50-60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. It's not about passing or failing-it's about understanding fit and setting you up for success.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.

Work from home requirements are:

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
  • High Speed Internet Service
  • It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction free workplace
  • Travel required up to 20% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN
  • (OR) Travel may be required nationally based on business requirements for OCHIN

Base Pay Overview

OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data.
