Job summary

Iowa State University’s CyBIZ Lab seeks a Program Specialist II to support its student consulting program and expand partnerships. You will recruit, mentor and coach student teams, edit surveys and reports, analyze data, and prepare clients for executive presentations.

You will build relationships with businesses and community partners, coordinate training events, and help scale program operations and metrics while working in a fast-paced, business-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
• Experience mentoring student teams and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong writing/editing skills for surveys and professional reports.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor student consulting teams by providing guidance and resources.
• Monitor project progress and escalate concerns to the program director.
• Improve program operations and training; prepare students for executive client presentations.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop student consultants for multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate student engagement initiatives and partner outreach.
• Build relationships with businesses and community partners to generate projects.
