Nassau BOCES in New York is seeking a Program Specialist II to support the Center for Online Learning (COL). The role involves overseeing technology systems, handling Helpdesk, and guiding COL programs connected to tech systems and implementation.

Responsibilities include supporting COL programs as assigned by the Program Supervisor, with emphasis on system configuration, maintenance, and user support. Strong communication and PD experience are valued.

Formación

• NYSED Teaching Certification is required.
• SDA/SDL/Administrator certification (preferred).
• Strong technology skills including API configuration, advanced Excel, LMS/SIS configuration, data administration, account management, and basic coding.
• Experience delivering professional development and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Description

The Nassau BOCES Department of Curriculum and Instruction is seeking a Program Specialist II to support the Center for Online Learning program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing associated technology systems, including configuration, updates, maintenance, and ongoing improvements
• Managing all Helpdesk submissions related to the Center for Online Learning
• Overseeing COL programs directly connected to technology systems and implementation
• Supporting all COL programs as assigned by the Program Supervisor

Requirements

• New York State Education Department (NYSED) Certification: Teaching Certification
• NYSED Certification: School District Administrator (SDA), School District Leader (SDL), or Administrator preferred
• Strong technology skills, including API configuration, advanced Excel skills, LMS/SIS configuration and maintenance, data administration, account management, and basic coding
• Experience providing professional development
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

SALARY

As per labor contract.
