SBP is seeking a grant-focused professional in New Orleans to support disaster preparedness, response, and resilience programs. You will coordinate across fellows, managers, and directors, manage reporting, and maintain data integrity in Salesforce while supporting donor communications.
The role requires 5–7 years in a related field, experience with disaster grants, and the ability to multitask. A valid driver’s license and eligibility for background checks are required in a mission-driven
We are SBP, a national nonprofit focused on reducing the time between disaster and recovery by strengthening readiness and resilience before disasters occur and accelerating rebuilding and long-term recovery afterward. Through our Recovery Services, we help vulnerable homeowners in communities affected by major disasters across eight states in the Gulf South. Through our Advisory Services, we work with low-capacity, high-risk communities by offering training, consulting, and organizational capacity-building through our subject‑matter experts and Resilience Fellows. This role supports our Fellows, Group Managers, and leaders across Program and Advisory Services, and is critical to maintaining stability as we grow and expand.
