Job summary

The City of Placerville, California is seeking a Program Site Supervisor to oversee on-site operations for youth/adult sports programs. You will open/close facilities, supervise scorekeepers, coaches, participants and spectators, and ensure smooth program operation with professional conduct.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have completed the junior year of high school (additional education desirable), and complete the City’s training program. Seasonal work aligned with league dates.

Qualifications

• Age: must be at least 16 years old.
• Education: Completion of junior year of High School; additional education desirable.
• Experience: One season in youth leadership; prior scorekeeping desirable.
• Training: Completion of City of Placerville training program required.

Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor and/or League Director, the Program Site Supervisor is responsible for the on-site operation of City of Placerville sponsored Youth/Adult Sports Programs.

• supervising scorekeepers, volunteer coaches, participants, and spectators
• caring for facilities, enforcing of league policies and procedures
• ensuring the smooth operation of programs
• maintaining positive public relations
• representing the City of Placerville with professionalism and maturity

Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

Education: Completion of junior year of High School, additional education desirable.

Experience: One (1) season experience in youth leadership, and prior scorekeeping experience desirable.

Completion of training program with City of Placerville is required.

Seasonal depending on league dates.
