Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and 5-7 years of related experience OR Associates Degree in a related area and 7-9 years of related experience OR 9-11 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years
• SAP experience desired
• Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-discipline security support for one or more SAPs and day-to-day analysis for Collateral, SCI and SAP activities.
• Develop and execute approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI and collateral data.
• Provide day-to-day security support including assessment of procedures and recommending improvements to security policies, procedures, and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
• Develop, implement, and train the Operations Security program.
• Provide contractor and subordinate facility oversight and assistance.
• Brief all levels of government and senior civilian staff on security topics.
• Conduct SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on reviews, and facility close-outs.
• Monitor, report and track corrective actions from reviews.
• Notify program staff of pertinent security matters.
• Investigate loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified/sensitive information and generate damage assessments.
• Coordinate with SAP security to update security education and awareness programs.
