Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Security Manager to lead SAP/SCI program security activities requiring Final Top Secret clearance and SCI access.

You will develop and audit security programs, mentor CSSO staff, liaise with U.S. government customers, and ensure compliance with DOWM/JSIG, NISPOM, and related regulations.

This role demands management in high-tempo environments, thorough policy writing (SOPs, CONOPS, OPSEC), and education programs.

Qualifications

• Final Top Secret clearance with a current background investigation or CV date within the last five years.
• 8+ years' experience as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO), Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), or PSO/PSR in a contractor or government context.
• Experience with SAP facility build/accreditation processes.
• Experience with DOW SAP PERSEC procedures/processes, Defense Information Security System (DISS), and clearance requirements.
• Experience writing SOPs, CONOPS, OPSEC Plans & CSP.

Standard Job Description

The Security Manager Responsibilities Include

• Manages a team of security professional professionals tasked to provide security guidance and enforce compliance to specific Space portfolios.
• Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
• Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
• Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DOD collateral classified programs.
• Enables team of Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or a Security Representatives with training, development, and mentorship opportunities.
• Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DOWM/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOW industrial security rules (NISPOM).
• Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
• Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
• Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
• Develops and conducts security education classes.
• Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
• Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
• Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

Desired Skills

• Bachelors and Masters Degree in associated security, management, or related fields
• Professional certifications through the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
• Previous management experience in high opstempo environments

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00
