Job summary

Prattwhitney in Tucson is looking for a security officer to assist with essential security tasks, including processing clearance requests and updating databases. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, alongside a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with 32CFR, Part117 (NISPOM) and other security-related regulations.
• Related training with relevant security certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing personnel clearance requests.
• Update databases with security information.
• Coordinate visitor control and escorts.
• Deliver security education & training.
• Support incident reporting and inquiries.

Skills

Final SECRET security clearance or enrollment in a DoD-compliant CV program

Valid driver’s license

Experience with Microsoft products

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Familiarity with DISS, JADE, eSecurity, Access Commander

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree in relevant fields
