Job summary

Cobec, Inc. is hiring a Program Scheduler/Resource Analyst to deliver experienced scheduling and resource analysis for a PMO. You will build and maintain integrated schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM, support project managers, and aid leadership with resource demand and utilization insights.

The role emphasizes process improvements, strong collaboration, and adherence to GAO schedule best practices, with travel as needed and a strong focus on data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in a PMO scheduling role with process improvements.
• Experience creating and maintaining enterprise schedules.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create resource-loaded schedules from input from project managers.
• Configure P6 EPPM layouts, calendars, baselines, reports and dashboards.
• Develop and analyze resource-loaded schedules for staffing forecasts.
• Identify overallocated resources and provide recommendations.
• Support resource leveling, labor-hour forecasting, variance analysis.
• Implement consistent planning and scheduling processes.
• Prepare and track schedule milestones and critical path.
• Develop what-if scenarios and assess risks to objectives.
• Create data reports and present to stakeholders.
• Document schedule changes and port MSP/Excel to P6.
