If you know P6, you know a schedule can look healthy right up until it doesn't.
Here, you're the person who sees the warning signs first and has the authority to do something about them.
You'll own the schedule across a portfolio of utility work, connecting engineering, contractors, field construction, outages, restoration, and closeout into one integrated plan. You won't just collect updates. You'll test whether the schedule actually reflects what's happening in the field.
What you get: You're stepping into a role with real ownership and limited oversight, not a position where someone hands you a schedule and asks you to update it. You'll work across a portfolio of projects, see how utility construction actually gets executed, and become a key project-controls resource for the program.
The role is based in Oklahoma City, generally 7-4, with periodic field visits throughout the service territory. Compensation is listed at $70-$80, with $800/week per diem when applicable.
You're hands-on with Primavera P6. You have personally built, maintained, updated, and analyzed schedules, not just reviewed someone else's work. You understand CPM logic, critical path, float, forecasting, and recovery, and you're comfortable telling a PM or contractor when the schedule doesn't match reality. Utility/T&D construction experience is highly relevant.
