Job summary

KBR is seeking an organized Program Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for multiple work packages and link them into a program-level Integrated Master Schedule. This full-time role is based in the KBR Midwest City, OK office.

The successful candidate will work with DoD professionals, manage IMS, and provide weekly/4-week rolling forecasts along with presentations for management and IPTs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in submitting and tracking DoD purchase and service requests.
  • Familiarity with DoD programs, schedules, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with DoD organizations, mods, and schedules.
  • Experience scheduling Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Eligible for Secret-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain schedules for multiple work packages and link them into a program-level IMS.
  • Highlight resource and deadline conflicts and provide weekly/monthly reports to management.
  • Coordinate inputs from stakeholders and manage IMS scheduling tools; assess impacts of budget or requirement changes.
  • Prepare PowerPoint briefings and high-level schedule slides for IPT and Executive briefings.

Program Summary

KBR is seeking an organized and self‐sufficient Program Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for multiple work packages, show dependencies between work packages, and link them all together in a program level Integrated Master Schedule. This is a full‑time position located in the KBR Midwest City, OK office.

Program Scheduler

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Duties will include developing schedules, updating status of tasks, highlighting resource and deadline conflicts to program management and work package managers, providing weekly and monthly reports. The Program Scheduler will also need to provide specific charts and summaries for presentations by management.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with a team of driven and highly skilled DoD professionals. Be relied upon to provide strategic input in creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Be responsible for synthesizing various cost, schedule, and performance metrics/milestones into a strategic, forward‑looking schedule in support of program priorities.
  • Effectively coordinate inputs from stakeholders, manage IMS scheduling tools, assess scheduling impacts related to budget drills/requirement changes, adjust schedule to meet short‑term requirements, advise stakeholders of potential scheduling issues, and make recommendations as needed.
  • Prepare PowerPoint briefings, high‑level schedule slides to support IPT and Executive level briefings. Interact daily with various program functional leads to include Integrated Product Team leads (military or civilian).
  • Work with Technical Directors, systems engineers, security, cost, and modeling and simulation personnel to obtain the program’s big picture and necessary integration activities to provide an actionable schedule for execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide weekly status of tasks.
  • Provide 4‑week rolling schedule forecasts.
  • Highlight resource or deadline conflicts to the program management and work package managers.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of completed tasks and delayed tasks.
  • Provide status charts for regular meetings.
  • Perform health checks on schedule.
  • Show critical paths.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Project, Office, SharePoint to produce and integrate complex schedules. Knowledge in R‑plan desired.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self‑starter, effective organizational skills, and assertive in dynamic group settings.

  • Computer skills required include Microsoft Business Office 365 Professional utilization and experience. The candidate must be very familiar with MS office suite including, but not limited to:
