Job summary

KBR in Ohio is seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler to develop and maintain program and project schedules for multiple IPTs across acquisition, logistics, and maintenance programs. You will collaborate with Logistics, Engineering and Program Management to plan and coordinate execution and create integrated timelines.

The position requires extensive experience with MS Project and DoD processes, strong teamwork, and the ability to deliver reports and briefings on schedule health.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience directly related to the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, management, business administration or related field.
  • Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Experience in DoD or USAF organizations creating schedules for acquisition and logistics/maintenance functions.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of USAF acquisition processes, milestones, policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of interrelationships between acquisition activities, program documentation and milestones.
  • Experience supporting DoD ACAT I/II/III acquisition programs.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of calendar year if needed.

Title

Integrated Master Scheduler

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining program and project schedules. The individual will work with multiple C‑130 Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on acquisition, modification, logistics, sustainment and maintenance programs and/or projects, developing schedules for assigned projects and, when necessary, integrating the project schedules into a higher‑level schedule reflecting program and project interdependencies. The individual must be capable of operating independently, working with the Logistics, Engineering and Program Management functional teams to assist with the planning, managing, and coordination of C‑130J FMS program and project execution. They will work in highly visible collaboration efforts. The individual will apply scheduling knowledge to perform various tasks related to planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective system modernization and support strategy.

  • This includes assisting the government in developing program and project schedules, integrating multiple schedules, performing schedule risk analysis, building projections of schedule outcomes, and developing reports or presentations.
  • Provide schedule‑related support to assigned IPTs by attending recurring program meetings.
  • Build project, program and integrated top‑level schedules for use in program reviews and other management briefings.
  • Providing reports to key program stakeholders on schedule health and construction, contractor schedule performance, and projections of schedule outcomes.
  • Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs), design reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
  • Communicate all findings to management through briefings, written reports and verbal communication.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to integrate disparate activities and milestones into schedule models.
  • Employ integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across several functional disciplines.
  • Perform a range of program management activities, such as: gathering program information; conducting analyses; developing program strategies; milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling; establishing and maintaining schedule databases.
The Incumbent Must Demonstrate Comprehensive Experience And Knowledge Of
  • Analyzing and integrating schedules using scheduling software, including MS Projects.
  • Developing schedules for presentations, translating MS Project and other schedule data into more suitable forms for easy visualization.
  • Identifying major milestones, decision points, project lifecycle and project events.
  • Developing, maintaining, and integrating project plans into project and program schedule models.
  • Air Force Material Command and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center policies, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • At least 15 years of experience directly related to the position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, management, business administration or related field. Additional experience may be considered sufficient to satisfy the degree requirement.
  • Clearance Requirement: Must possess a Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Experience in DoD or USAF organizations creating schedules for acquisition and logistics/maintenance functions.
  • Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of current USAF acquisition processes, milestones, policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of interrelationships between acquisition activities, program documentation and program milestones.
  • Experience supporting DoD ACAT I/II/III acquisition programs.
  • Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel out of local area 5‑10% of calendar year if needed.
