Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines, seeks a senior quality professional onsite in the United States. You will drive voice of the customer decisions, collaborate with functional teams to improve quality and processes, and apply PPAP core elements to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality metrics, reports, scorecards, and corrective actions; identifying production and delivery risks; and supporting CIPT targets for safety, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or quality field or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Strong project-management skills and knowledge of the P&W Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate the voice of the customer in decisions affecting quality and performance.
• Work with functional groups to define quality and process improvements.
• Utilize PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans) to identify risks and propose mitigation solutions.
• Maintain quality metrics and reports, customer scorecards, corrective actions, and update and publish weekly and monthly quality reports.
• Identify production and delivery risks; ensure implementation of effective RCCA.
• Provide recommendations and support CIPT on targets for product safety, performance, quality/manufacturability, reliability, and service life.
