Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Program Quality Engineer to serve as the quality engineering focal point for assigned programs, driving the Quality Control system to achieve customer satisfaction and product conformance.

You will partner across manufacturing, supplier quality, and engineering to translate contract requirements into executable plans, own root-cause analysis, and lead corrective actions for nonconformances and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with required experience.
• Four (4+) years of hands-on quality engineering in manufacturing/product environments; more with degree substitutions.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T.
• Ability to review program manuals, forms, and records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality engineering point of contact for assigned programs; support problem resolution and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain quality plans and flowdowns from contracts to manufacturing and suppliers.
• Execute FAI/AS9102 and supplier part approvals; disposition nonconformances.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions; build quality metrics.
