Job description

Lead and deliver complex Honeywell automation and technology development Projects/ programs as a core member of a high‑performing, global program team. Operate with minimal oversight to drive large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring successful execution against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance commitments.

Provide strong program leadership by coordinating multiple workstreams and Centers of Excellence across domestic and international locations. Translate strategic objectives into actionable, end‑to‑end program plans, and drive disciplined execution across the full product lifecycle—from concept and development through industrialization and production.

Serve as the central point of accountability for program planning, risk management, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering, automation, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams. Leverage advanced program management expertise to proactively identify dependencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and enable data‑driven decision‑making that supports on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Champion best practices in program governance, execution rigor, and continuous improvement to consistently meet or exceed customer and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of a project team throughout the life cycle of Honeywell Programs from start to close-out phases driving revenue > USD 15M per year USD
  • Lead and execute ensuring full compliance with contractual requirements, commercial terms, risk allocation, and change management, while driving effective contract administration, claims mitigation, and commercial negotiations with customers, EPC partners, and subcontractors to protect scope, schedule, cost, and margin objectives.
  • Define program goals and success metrics
  • Align multiple project plans to a shared roadmap
  • Manage interdependence and resource conflicts
  • Communicate program health to senior leadership
  • Drive process improvement, tooling adoption, and consistency
  • Coach and support Project Managers
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plan, including schedule, cost, and staffing requirements
  • Comply with all Global Project Management Office guidelines
  • Drive sales growth through project upsells
  • Review performance data (financial, budget, sales, and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress, and activity levels
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers
  • Lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers, subcontractors, and service providers by providing clarity to the scope of work and driving ownership at all levels to ensure implementation and delivery of all contractual requirements
  • Track and control costs within budget while continuously looking for margin expansion opportunities
  • Maintain accountability of team members for conformance and accuracy in their scope of work
  • Implement meetings with teams and vendors to drive schedule and oversight
  • Issue internal and external management reports as required
  • Manage change orders, document reviews, punch list resolutions, and project close-out
  • Drive on-time execution

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 12+ Years of Automation experience
  • 5+ Experience in the oil & gas, refining, and/or mining industry
  • 8+ Years of Project Management or equivalent experience
Preferred
  • Holds authority, is accountable for program execution
  • Requirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/Estimation
  • Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis
  • SOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru Integrated Master Schedule
  • Expert in Earned Value Management
  • Cost & Financials (ex. RDE, spend, forecast, variance)
  • Risk Management, Identification & Mitigation
  • Change Management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Effective organizational skills and experience preferably in an international, multi-site, and multicultural business environment
  • Detailed experience with process engineering, planning, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and customer & change order management in refining, petrochemical, or gas processing
  • Ability to influence and energize others as well as improve performance, meeting commitments, and getting results
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Lead Cross Functional Collaboration, Communicate & Influence
  • Provide guidance and coaching to peers and team members
