Job summary

SCP Health is seeking an experienced Office Operations professional at our Winchester, VA site to manage daily operations, optimize KPI-driven processes, and support client and provider satisfaction. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of office management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Practice Management or Healthcare.
  • Project Management experience working within or alongside hospital-based environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICD 10 and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and improve KPI, client and provider satisfaction as established by employer and client.
  • Handle daily administrative duties for each service line including death certificates, documentation queries, committee notes and scheduling.
  • Daily census management and EMR reconciliation.
  • Market services to retain referrals and grow new volumes.
  • Support audits and billing; ensure accurate ICD10/CPT coding and chart reviews.
  • Enhance satisfaction for clients, PCPs, patients, and providers and assist in surveys.
  • Coordinate HM Committee meetings and liaison with hospital staff.
  • Onboarding activities for new clinicians and MSO support.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and recommend improvements to the practice as it relates to KPI’s, and Client and Provider Satisfaction as established by both employer and the client.
  • Manage daily administrative duties for each service line to include death certificates, documentation queries, committee notes and follow‑up, virtual health cart support, scheduling support, and management.
  • Daily Census management and patient assignment to include EMR reconciliation.
  • Market services and the hospital to ensure retention of existing referral sources and to grow new referrals and volumes.
  • Support co‑workers in audit and billing and comply with ICD10/CPT coding and chart review to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
  • Enhance Client, PCP, Patient, and Provider Satisfaction as well as Quality, Case Management, Emergency Department, and other facility relations. Assist in satisfaction surveys for the client and clinician teams.
  • Communicate with PCPs and Consulting Specialist results pertaining to satisfaction, growth, and discharge summary follow‑ups.
  • Complete Tracking Forms designated for the Hospitalist Program. Analyze and recommend needed improvements to both employer and Hospital leadership teams.
  • Identify on site production, performance, or other issues; recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Assist in monthly scheduling and completion of provider schedules for designated client site to ensure quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
  • Facilitate engagement of HM Medical Director to result in meeting participation, new provider recruiting and retention targets.
  • Creation and facilitation of meeting agendas, meeting summaries, and follow‑up plans.
  • Manage daily operations and recommend improvements to the practice as it relates to KPI’s, and Client and Provider Satisfaction as established by both employer and the client.
  • Establish and facilitate standing HM Committee meetings between Hospital Administration, designated facility department managers (HM representatives, ED representatives, Virtual Health clinicians, and Anesthesia providers if contract includes these services).
  • Liaison between employer and hospital personnel involved in medical records process.
  • Oversee daily operations regarding physician signatures, provider credentialing, physician completion of medical records and physician completion of daily billing.
  • Assist in Onboarding activities for new clinicians: meet and greet with introductions, MSO support, badge access, office set‑up, etc.
  • Availability by phone or pager for schedule emergencies, patient complaints, or other facility issues.
  • Other duties deemed necessary and assigned by leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience working in a professional or medical based office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to effectively work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • High attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (i.e., Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of office management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Practice Management or Healthcare.
  • Project Management experience working within or alongside hospital‑based environment or functional areas.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICD 10 and CPT coding.
PRIMARY LOCATION:
  • Winchester Medical Center - Winchester, VA

Pay Range:

42,784.00 - 58,816.00 USD annually

This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
