Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (Level 2) to work on-site in San Diego or Palmdale, CA with a 4/10 schedule and a Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available.

You will develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and schedule, ensure cross‑functional alignment with finance, engineering, manufacturing and quality, track progress, perform risk analysis and resolve critical path conflicts using Gantt, PERT, IMS, EVMS and earned value management.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 2 years of related experience or MS degree.
  • Active Government Secret clearance or higher is required.
  • Ability to obtain Program Access as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across finance, engineering, manufacturing and quality.
  • Track progress and perform risk analysis to resolve critical path issues.

Program Planning Scheduling Analyst (Level 2)

This position will be located on-site daily in San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA with a 4/10 work schedule.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
  • Uses Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
Level 2 Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related field OR Master's degree.
  • Must have an active Government Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or IMS.
  • Experience with EVMS.
  • Experience with schedule analytics and risk assessment tools.

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
