Job summary

World Vision International is seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Data Management professional for a Local - Fixed Term role. You will develop and maintain data systems, ensure robust data collection and reporting, and support donor compliance across multiple projects.

Strong Excel and Power BI capabilities are essential, with fluency in Portuguese and English strongly preferred for global partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Degree or qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Development Studies or related field.
  • Strong experience in M&E data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable programme insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data management systems for qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ensure programme data is collected, consolidated, analysed, and reported effectively.
  • Support programme start-up with M&E frameworks, tools, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee baseline studies, assessments, evaluations, and data quality processes.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for programme improvement and decision-making.
  • Serve as WVA's focal point for M&E and Programme Quality.
  • Ensure compliance with donor, WVI, and national requirements.
  • Conduct quality reviews of donor reports and external communications.
  • Support project start-up workshops and compliance processes.
  • Lead programme performance reviews with Operations and Finance teams.
  • Establish knowledge management systems and repositories.
  • Maintain project records and organizational learning resources.
  • Ensure timely updates to WVA, WVI, and donor platforms.
  • Promote learning and adaptation based on evaluation findings.
  • Support proposal development and concept note preparation.
  • Lead development of M&E frameworks, indicators, and targets for new projects.
  • Provide evidence and impact data for donor engagement.
  • Review funding proposals and communication materials for data accuracy.
  • Develop compelling 'power claims' supported by evidence.
  • Support partner mapping and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with partnership policies and protocols.
  • Provide technical support to partners regarding M&E and reporting.
  • Present impact evidence to donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Build evidence demonstrating the effectiveness of faith and development approaches.
  • Support monitoring systems for transformational development initiatives.
  • Strengthen church partners' capacity in tracking and reporting impact.
  • Respond to evidence and reporting requirements of faith-based donors.

Job Description
Monitoring, Evaluation and Data Management

Experience training and mentoring others in M&E. Understanding of donor compliance requirements. Ability to transform data into strategic insights. Experience managing complex datasets and reporting systems.
