Job Description:
The Director - Partnerships & Resource Development provides strategic leadership for resource mobilization, donor engagement, grant acquisition, and partnership development for World Vision in the Solomon Islands. The position leads efforts to diversify and grow funding from institutional donors, multilateral agencies, bilateral development partners, UN agencies, foundations, private sector partners, churches, diaspora networks, and domestic fundraising sources.
The Director develops and implements a sustainable resource development strategy aligned with national priorities, Pacific regional development agendas, and World Vision's Our Promise 2030 strategy. The role strengthens relationships with key government ministries, development partners, regional organizations, private sector actors, and community stakeholders while ensuring high-quality grant acquisition, compliance, accountability, and stewardship of resources. The Director champions World Vision's visibility and influence across the Pacific context, positioning the organization as a trusted partner in child well-being, resilience, climate adaptation, education, health, gender equality, and humanitarian response.
