Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to support the Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Licensure Support Services Unit. You will assist with technology and operational projects, monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and coordinating training activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and capable of managing diverse responsibilities while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in administrative operations, program support, or related field.
• Two years delivering employee training or developing training materials.
• Ability to work in a professional office environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Compile and assess information from multiple sources to present options and recommendations.
• Prepare performance metrics and operational reports for management review.
• Assist with developing and delivering staff training within the unit and across MQ A as assigned.
• Serve as the unit's backup trainer and provide instructional support when needed.
• Coordinate training plans, records, and professional development activities for employees.
• Maintain escalation protocols, SOPs, and operational guidance.
• Track documentation, training completion, and other operational requirements.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
