Catapult is seeking a Program Operations Manager to support CORRAL’s Join the Herd and City of Raleigh programs in Cary, NC, with additional Raleigh programming.

This full-time onsite role requires Saturday work and coordination across multiple facilities, including the Cary and Raleigh farms. The role reports to the Senior Program Director and emphasizes data-driven program improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Join the Herd program logistics, track deliverables, and ensure all services run seamlessly.
• Inputs all data into NC Allies (Join the Herd and Riding Academy) for outcome measures and monitoring.
• Partners with Grants team on compliance needs for grants.
• Oversees Alumni outreach and future community building efforts.
• Works to eradicate cultural barriers for participants to engage in services in collaboration with programming staff, including organizing transportation support for participants.
• No excuses: does 'whatever it takes' to create future opportunity for the girls.
• Maintains high expectations for staff and girls at all times.
• Provides direct program support as needed.
• Produce and review dashboards and reports evaluating program health, KPIs, and ROI.
• Monitors data proactively and makes data-driven decisions.
• Act as the primary liaison between operations and programming teams and community partners.

Job description

At Catapult, we are supporting our member, CORRAL, in their search for aProgram Operations Manager. This position will primarily workat theCary, NC Farm, though it will also support programming at theRaleigh, NC Farm. This is a full-time, onsite role, and will be required to work on Saturdays.

About CORRAL

CORRAL is a faith-motivated nonprofit that provides adolescent girls in high-risk situations a holistic program of equine therapy and education so they may gain access to a bright future. Our participants may be "high-risk" due to socioeconomic status, trauma such as neglect, abuse, or, more frequently, a combination of these situations. CORRAL is intended as a long-term intervention for the participants, requiring a minimum of one year's commitment from each girl upon enrollment. Our staff provides intensely personal and high contact programming that includes only the uppermost standards of literacy and academic tutoring, vocational training, and equine-assisted therapy programs.

Description of Role

The Program Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's programs and services, specifically Join the Herd (JTH) and City of Raleigh. The Program Operations Manager role bridges program strategy and day-to-day operations by developing systems, managing processes, tracking performance metrics for compliance, and ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with CORRAL's mission and goals.

Programming Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 11 am until 7 pm and on Friday and Saturday 9 am until 5pm. A typical work week is Tuesday through Saturday. Summer Hours may shift to Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm. This position will report directly to the Senior Program Director.

The CORRAL team is big on collaboration, so you must have the ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other staff members. Outcomes and documentation are important, so you are able to complete the paperwork and analyses that help CORRAL hone its programs.

Key Outcomes

• Meet annual goals for Total # of girls served in JTH
• Manage Total # of girls on waitlist
• Ensure that the average Join The Herd Risk Score >12
• Ensure JTH and RA participant files are complete (including signed ISPs) and filed under locked key
• Ensure that more than 40% of JTH girls are court involved (annually) and 70% of JTH girls from priority referral partners (annually)
• Ensure that no more than 7 days passes between admission/termination before entered in NC
• Allies and notification of referral source (note: termination must be in writing and recommendations made for future treatment
• Volunteers are engaged and active to support CORRAL needs (generally NP<10%, E>30%, S>10%)

Responsibilities

Program Administration

• Oversee Join the Herd program logistics, track deliverables, and ensure all services run seamlessly
  • Manages Participant Intake, termination, and file compliance for Join the Herd
  • Ensures that all participant paper files are up to date and complete in order to meet any and all grant compliance
• Inputs all data into NC Allies (Join the Herd and Riding Academy) for outcome measures and monitoring
• Partners with Grants team on compliance needs for grants

Program Support

• Oversees Alumni outreach and future community building efforts
• Works to eradicate cultural barriers for participants to engage in services in collaboration with programming staff, including organizing transportation support for participants
• No excuses: does "whatever it takes" to create future opportunity for the girls
• Maintains high expectations for staff and girls at all times
• Provides direct program support as needed

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Produce and review dashboards and reports evaluating program health, KPIs, and ROI
• Monitors data proactively and makes data-driven decisions

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between operations and programming teams and community partners
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Community Partners for the purposes of serving CORRAL's girls and their families
  • Maintain CORRAL's Community Resource Database
  • Create brand awareness for CORRAL with peer-organizations and strategic partners; act as liaison in meetings and other spaces about CORRAL's mission, programs, outcomes, and population
  • Supports staff in building program-related Strategic Partnerships
  • Oversees "referrals out" process in our SF database
  • Support Programming Team members in connecting families or girls in need with available resources and services
• Leads referral process
  • Ensures that JTH participants and referral sources receive adequate communication and follow-up prior to intake
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with CORRAL's key referral sources including court counselors, school social workers, partner organizations, and CPS
  • Acts as a point of contact for referring agencies

Champion Management

• Ensures champions understand the "why" of CORRAL
• Ensures that volunteers are thoroughly prepared for their roles
• Update Salesforce with interactions with champions as needed
• Manages a group of volunteers and is responsible for the training, coordination, and capacity building of our volunteer champions. Includes volunteers in the "rigor with joy" culture of CORRAL
• Fosters authentic relationships with all champions (donors and volunteers) to ensure adequate resources for the girls and maintain the brand of CORRAL

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with an understanding of the experiences and needs of historically marginalized communities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across diverse groups; demonstrates active listening, empathy, professionalism, diplomacy, and respect in all interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Nonprofit sector preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a highly preferred skill for the position

Salary/Benefits

This is a direct, on the ground, full-time salaried role. Salary negotiable. CORRAL offers a competitive benefits package including employer contributions to health, vision, and dental benefit plans; the ability to contribute to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA); and employer-paid life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and an employee assistance program, available after 60 days.
