Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Program Operations Lead to support the U.S. Navy Frigate Program Office in Washington, DC. You will guide cross-functional teams, develop data-driven dashboards, and ensure delivery across cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

You will prepare executive reports, coordinate complex program milestones, and drive business process improvements while leveraging Power BI and M365 tools. Travel up to 25% may be required, with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within three months of hire or current DoD clearance.
• 5 years of relevant program office, ship production, or acquisition support experience.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI and other Power Platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to produce executive-level reports and briefings.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

As the energetic Program Operations Lead in Washington, DC, you will provide direct support to the U.S. Navy Frigate Program Office responsible for the acquisition, construction, testing, delivery, and lifecycle transition of surface combatants.

As a key member of the PMS 410 Program Office Support Team, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and problem solving to support Program Operations activities across the Navy's frigate program.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a cross-functional team supporting Program Operations, including risk management, problem-solving, data management, and data visualization for PMS 410.

• Support strategic planning initiatives and special projects to improve operational effectiveness and mission outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within three months of hire or an Active/Current DoD security clearance.

• US Citizenship.

• Bachelor's degree.

• Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.

• 5 years of relevant program office, ship production, or acquisition support experience.

• Strong proficiency in Power Bi and other Power Platforms.

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of customer organizations.

• Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, personnel, and deliverables simultaneously.

• Experience working in a Navy Shipbuilding Program Office or Supervisor of Shipbuilding.

• Ability to interact effectively with senior Navy leadership, government civilians, and industry representatives.

• Ability to effectively communicate and interface with customers, stakeholders, and industry personnel, with particular attention to rapid generation of presentations for stakeholder leadership.

• Proficiency in the M365 software suite including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

• Excellent oral and technical report writing skills.

• Ability to travel up to 25%, as needed.
