Job summary

Food For Thought Outreach is seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to support year-round operations in Walton and Okaloosa Counties. The role involves on-site collaboration with volunteers in pantry locations and community settings, focusing on training, coordination, and execution of programs.

The position reports to the Operations Manager and offers room for growth within the organization, with a commitment to the mission and standards that guide all activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on a team or leading a team in person.
• Strong organizational skills and personal time management.
• Experience with critical thinking and problem-solving in a professional environment.
• Excellent written and in-person communication.
• Experience with Google Suite and willingness to learn new software.
• Passion for our mission and commitment to the work required to deliver our program services.
• Willingness to work in a variety of settings including an office, pantry/warehouse, and in the field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate resources (food, supplies, vans, equipment) to meet program needs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and data in shared drives for program use.
• Support seasonal planning and execution for program changes.
• Coordinate with volunteers to receive and maintain shipments and food inventory at all locations.
• Lead packing groups and model organization standards and practices.
