Job summary

Steampunk, Inc. is seeking a Program Operations Analyst to drive coordination, integration, and operational excellence within a federal delivery environment.

The ideal candidate will partner with Project and Program Managers, delivery and functional leaders, and synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations for leadership decisions. You will maintain an integrated view of program delivery, manage milestones and risks, and help establish the program operating rhythm so leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of working experience in project management, program operations, product operations, digital delivery, management consulting, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex or incomplete information, identify risks and implications, and develop actionable recommendations for program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the program operating rhythm, including recurring reporting, program reviews, planning activities, leadership readouts, action tracking, and follow-through.
• Maintain an integrated view of program delivery across multiple teams and workstreams, including milestones, roadmaps, dependencies, risks, decisions, staffing and capacity considerations, and overall delivery health.
• Lead program-level planning and coordination, partnering with Project and Product Managers, Delivery Leads, technical leadership, and functional leads to align team-level plans with program priorities and commitments.
• Proactively identify cross-team risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and emerging delivery issues, driving resolution where possible and elevating matters requiring program leadership or client decisions.
• Synthesize delivery, operational, financial, staffing, risk, and performance information into concise, leadership-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations that support decision-making.
• Establish clear expectations for program reporting and management artifacts, ensuring information from teams is timely, accurate, consistent, and supports key decisions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve program-management processes, tools, reporting, information flow, and ways of working.
• Serve as a trusted operational partner to the Program Manager, independently driving follow-through, anticipating program needs, and representing program status and priorities in designated internal forums.
