Salary Range: $26.00 - $26.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Up to 50%

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Explain reasons for certification and risk factors
• Discuss dangers of smoking, drug use, and alcohol use
• Provide nutrition education
• Offer breastfeeding information to pregnant and currently breastfeeding individuals
• Discuss recall and diet assessment
• Make appropriate referrals
• Explain what foods to buy, when to spend checks, and where to spend checks
• Explain the food list

Education Requirements

BS in Foods and Nutrition, community nutrition, or Dietetics. Verification of IV/V or DPD from ADA preferred.

Additional Requirements

Must be able to serve multi‑lingual clientele and staff. Travel within Gateway CAP service area is required. Applicants must work well independently and with the team. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
