Job summary

TreatmentX is seeking a Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH to lead nursing assessments and coordinate medical/psychiatric care for patients in a substance use/mental health program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; vocational training could be substituted for a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in psychiatry, preferably in a substance abuse program or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio; maintaining current licensure per state requirements; maintains current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing assessment planning and coordinate medical/psychiatric management with attending physician, ARNP, or PA-C.
• Document patient progress and maintain daily assessments and charts according to policy.
• Administer medications, obtain lab specimens, and supervise medication self-administration as ordered.
• Communicate with medical staff, participate in monthly staff and Performance Improvement meetings.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards and patient confidentiality requirements.
