Job summary

The Lighthouse Residential Treatment program in Columbus, OH is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team. The RN provides safe, high-quality nursing care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, performs assessments, medication administration, and coordination to support treatment goals.

Qualifications include an active Ohio RN license and at least 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience; requires a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and interactions.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance.
• Must pass BCI check and employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions and ongoing assessments.
• Execute orders including medication administration and document in ECR.
• Perform point-of-care testing and coordinate lab transport.
• Provide individual and family counseling.
• Contribute to educational curriculum on medical topics.
• Supervise LPNs providing nursing care.
• Administer medications per protocol.
• Respond to crisis calls and provide interventions.
• Document clinical care and coordinate discharge planning.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and liaise with resources.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and complete required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
