Job summary

VTG is seeking a Program Manager in Chantilly, VA (contingent upon program award) to lead a flagship program with daily interaction among VTG workforce, subcontractors, VTG leadership and the IC customer.

You will direct a team of managers, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure contractual obligations are met while driving alignment with VTG strategy and growth goals. On-site collaboration with the customer is required to execute the mission.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• 15 years' experience; with relevant experience on a program or organization at the same size/scope.
• Knowledge and experience with the IC customer.
• Work on customer site; side by side with the customer daily.
• Leadership of a team of managers, who in turn manage the workforce teams.
• Direct engagement with subcontract workforce and leadership.
• Building future leaders and providing career development opportunities for the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with VTG workforce, subcontractor companies, VTG executive leadership and the IC customer.

• Direct the subcontractor relationship to ensure skills and experience to execute on program; manage workshare and contractual elements.

Overview VTG is looking for a Program Manager in Chantilly VA. (Note: Contingent upon program award) What will you do? This role will require daily interaction with 4 primary stakeholders: VTG workforce, subcontractor companies, VTG executive leadership and the IC customer. This interaction will be fluid and cycle daily based on priority and risk mitigation.

• VTG Workforce: engagement will include providing strategic and tactical direction to employees and managers. Workforce development to provide career and learning opportunities. Creating the strategy for hiring new folks onto the program with the experience to execute the mission
• Subcontractor: ensure subs can augment the skills and experience to execute on program; adhere to agreements on workshare and contractual elements. Communicate the strategic direction of the program from execution to recompete.
• VTG Leadership: programmatic reporting to executive level leadership on this flagship program for the company. Drive integration across the company to leverage best practices and technology on program. Align to the overall VTG strategy for execution and growth
• IC Customer: daily interaction with key members of the customer team to include the CO, COTR and Directorate level leadership. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and ensure execution is in support and the betterment of the mission. Do you have what it takes? Requirements:

• Unique and creative ways to engage the employee workforce Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $185,000 - $250,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
