Program Manager – Wiring

Southfield, MI – World Headquarters

As a member of the Program Management team, the Program Manager will be responsible for:

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Program Execution – Drive the cross functional team to accomplish product launch while utilizing Lear Program Management Process and disciplines.
• Run regular meetings with Key Customer Liaisons, Sales, Purchasing, Lead Unit Engineering, Plant Product Engineering, Plant Quality.
• Drive Accountability to the APQP process to assure the program launches with quality.
• Responsible to assure program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear hurdle rates and corporate commitments.
• Run Management Gate Reviews in LearPro.
• Create Program Deliverable Timelines based on customer milestones.
• Be the face of Lear to the customer.
• Will report to Platform Director or specific OEM Customer Lead (Platform Manager).

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
• At least 5 years of automotive experience and firm grasp of APQP principles.
• Working knowledge of program and operational finance.
• Proven record of managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizations.
• Ability to travel domestically, with occasional international.

Bonus if you have:

• MBA.
• Experience with Wire Harnesses.
