Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Program Manager for Wellness & Prevention under the CDC Comprehensive Cancer Grant. This role focuses on planning and overseeing health promotion activities to reduce chronic disease risk across Alaska communities.

Under limited supervision, you will manage budgets, grants and program reporting, working with staff to meet grant goals and ensure compliant operations. Travel within Alaska is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; professional experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience planning, developing and evaluating public health programs.
• Strong grant coordination, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with a wide range of partners including clinicians, administrators and community organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements public health programs.
• Manages budgets, contracts and grant coordination; ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Researches funding opportunities and drafts grant applications with supporters.
• Prepares progress and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Leads or contributes to program documentation, surveys and data collection tools.
• Develops program objectives and metrics aligned with division goals.
• Coordinates with ANTHC finance for timely financial reporting.
• Provides leadership and coaching to staff; manages staff development.
