Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services seeks a Program Manager to deliver WA Cares Fund intake solutions and direct the Home and Community Living Administration team. You will report to the Deputy Administrator and steer program policy, performance metrics, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, health, social services, or related field and five years of professional supervision experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering social and health services programs.
• Equivalent experience may substitute year-for-year for required education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions that enable WA Cares Fund systems and manage intake staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Collaborate with WMS and other state agencies on statewide operations, budgeting, and policy development.
• Lead staff, training, and staffing management to meet performance metrics and ensure process improvements.
